For those of you who are new to The Four Realms RPG, and/or never have Role Played on a message forum, I will give you some easy to follow instructions on how to go about making a character.
First you must copy and paste the “Character Sheet Template” into a word document. Fill out all the blanks you can. Add the extra points you are given to the areas of your choice in the stats area. For realm you must pick a one of your choice to be the realm your character came from.
When making an original character make sure you type up a good description of your appearance, Personality, and a fairly lengthily history. We like those! Please don’t put links of pictures or pictures in your application form, you may add a picture to your profile only after it’s been approved and you’ve posted it in the approved characters forum, and it must be on the very bottom under all your information.
For your weapon, pick one from the weapons list located in the Marketplace under the character creation forums. There are many to choose from and give your stats bonuses. If it gives you a bonus to your stat simple type (+stat number) next to the stat it increases.
NOTE!! You do not need to post purchasing your starting items.
Once you have filled out everything in the character sheet, and have spell checked it, go into the create a character forum, and click on the small button that says “New Thread” the subject title of your thread should be the name of your character, and in the box below, copy and paste from word, the sheet you filled out. When ready, click the submit button.
Walla! You have now made your character. BUT!!! This does not mean you can instantly start Rping. You must wait for a Moderator or an Admin to look it over and make sure everything is to the Forum’s rules. If your character is original, and sticks to the rules and the story, an Admin or Moderator will post if you’re approved. If for some reason your sheet is not up to code, an Admin or moderator will let you know exactly what you need to fix.
If you need to fix your character sheet, simply hit the modify button on your post, and edit what you need to. DO NOT! Repost it in another thread, or again in the same thread. This way there is just the one sheet for us to look at.
