He growled as he landed on his feet in the completion of a backflip. He looked up and his hand snapped up, back and then forward. An empty hand once before was now filled with a blade, his blade. The punk infront of him had bit off more than he could chew. Good thing was though, it was a job he was doing and this moron was the target. A personal target it may be but one none the less. This punk had come into his camp and stole from him. Then tried to run and whine and hide and deny it.
The kid was weilding a dulled short sword, which was no more than a knife compared to the sword he himself was useing. He let out a roar and then with fast reflexes disarmed the punk and stepped in and drove his clawed left hand into his throat. Yanking back with his fingers curled tore the throat out from the young man, letting the life blood drain out in a rush. When the body stopped moving he retreived what was stolen from him and nothing more. With that he cleaned his hands, sheathed his sword and continued moving. It was good to be a lycan, at least he thought so.
As he walked he continued on too where he was heading. Into the nearest city. He had been gone from there too long and needed work. He had been with his family for a week or so now as he normally was twice a year. He was happy to see them growing so fast and learning just as fast as they grew. But now he had the itch for a hunt, for work and for the pleasures of women and the warmth of drink. His ears twitched and his nose scented the air as he moved at an easy jogging pace.

He had kept his pace for nearly an hour or so before increasing it. Always moving, always training, and always hungry for some form of entertainment once he was traveling again. He didn't care if it was a job, a....turn or two in a bed or out in the open with a woman or two....or just a fight he could get into or break up for the fun of it. But none the less he enjoyed the way things were and he continued at a faster pace for another hour. When he finally reached the end of his second hour he had slowed down to a brisk walk. This to let him regain his breathing and some stamina for when he needed it. He looked around and smiled to himself.
Gathering from what was around him he knew it wouldn't be but another two or three hours before he came to a city. And where there was a city, there were women, jobs and many other things of great intrest. The wind brushed through his fur and he yawned abit from the noonday sun. Maybe he should hunt a small home or something along the way, one that had a nice choice of....lovely ladies to indulge upon. He thought this over for awhile before dismissing the idea...for now at least. First things first, he needed work and he needed to get in touch with other people for that. So the city was his first priority for now.

The entire trip from the woodlands to the city he kept a steady pace. His eyes always moving with the landscape looking for possible dangers or...possible fun. He knew these lands well due to his constant traveling and it always amazed him how beautiful it could be but also how miserable it was. So much freedom to be had, and yet that freedom came at the price of being tied down to one place at a time. That wasn't much freedom to him, not in the smallest amount. To be truely free one must not be restrained to just one place, but allowed to go all over as one wished. True there were rules and laws one had to follow but the fun came when you broke them. At least the major ones such as murder or such things that ruined anothers life or way of life. He would do so often but only if it was a job, and that job had good reason. He may be what he was by trade and choice but he did have his own personal code to live by and it often saved his furry hide.
Oh well things happen and these were his own thoughts to play with. Must not let himself become too distracted or he could wind up in a lot of trouble along the way. Not that he was worried because he could handle himself quite well if he got into a fight. But the less time he spent with pitiful roadside bandits and such the more time he had to spend in the city looking for work and for fun. Not that he couldn't find fun here in one or two of these lovely little homes that always held a family with a fairly innocent and ripe young daughter. He licked his lips remembering his early times of going out, finding a woman and having his way with them. So much trouble did he get into and cause by that, and it was always worth it. For it was a way he had also built his skills and made his money to set himself up as he was. Well to get started in the city. The first few jobs did the rest. So as he jogged he looked and kept all his senses moving and alert to his surroundings.

He sighed as he slowed down to a walk. Time to slow his pace and preserve his energy. Things were doing well so far and he was making decent time. So for the time being he could rest himself alittle. He walked slowly with large strides along the roadway. With each step he took, the distance dwindled away and he drew closer to his destination. His breathing and heartrate began to slow now and he breathed deeply to help slow the process more. His ears twitched alittle as he heard something in the wind. He prepared himself for anything and began to scent the air.
