Schooner: Small class of ship, lightly armed carrying only 6 guns. Schooners come in both two-masted and three-masted varieties. (10.5 knots; 4 crew can hold 49 people.) Hp: 300 Defense: 50 Cost: 15,000 gold
Sloop: ship type commonly used by pirates, had few guns, but a shallow draft, and was incredibly fast, great for negotiating shallow waterways, essential when running from pursuit. carried 20 guns on one gun deck (20 knots; 9 crew; 1-2 masts.) Hp: 150 Defense: 30 Cost: 8,000 gold
Corvette: Light and fast, corvettes were lightly armed (10 guns, though some did carry more), but more than made up for their lack of armament with their speed. (15-18 knots; 2-5 crew; 2 mast) Hp: 100 Defense: 20 Cost: 6,000 gold
Whaleboat: really big rowboat. ( ? knots; 8+ crew seeing as there is four paddles on either side of the boat; no mast) Hp: 80 Defense: 10 Cost: 3,000 gold
Gig: big rowboat. (? knots; 4+ four paddles: two on either side; no mast.) Hp: 60 Defense: 10 Cost: 1,500 gold
Dinghy: very small rowboat (? knots; 1+ two paddles that can be handled by one person; no mast) Hp: 40 Defense: 10 Cost: 500 gold
