Synthing for Dummies

Synthing is the magic process for taking items and putting them together to make more powerful items mostly used on Weapons and armor example

Step one first pick the synthed item you want
Example: Galen Griefmaker: a very fancy elven sword that is well prized among all swordsmen
Required: a Bastard Sword, 2 Rubies, and 500gp

Step two look at the requirements need to make the item
Example: Required: a Bastard Sword, 2 Rubies, and 500gp


Step three find the items in the standard market while you use a calculator to keep track of how much the required items cost adding them together along with the required to make cost.
Example: Bastard Sword = 80gp + 2 Rubies = 150(each) + 500gp = 880gp

Step four use your acquired gold to create the item when you reach the requirements.
Example: Gold Pieces 1000 – 880 = 120gp remaning

Step five purchase the item.
Example: Purchased Bastard Sword = 80gp + 2 Rubies = 150(each) to make Galen Griefmaker: a very fancy elven sword that is well prized among all swordsmen total cost 880gp
