The surprise of her shield unable to be put back into defense position distracted her enough for his sword to connect to her exposed body causing her to fall backwards abit before she struck out with her sword once more

Using her shield once more Winter easily blocked Dales sword the steel ringing off one another when it happened. She jumped up to deliver her steel covered knee into his face.

With her arms spread wide to tackle him Dale raised his sword high with both arms and swung it down hard to connect with her wide open face shield spread wide to tackle him.
